Hi there!

My name is Diane and I'm an American expat living in the Stockholm area (Nacka) with my husband and our parrot, Huey. After a lifetime as the designated petsitter for friends and family, I spent 2 years petsitting with Pawshake while we lived in Hamburg, Germany with many happy repeat clients. I'm looking forward to making some new animal friends in a new city.

I love petsitting because it gives me the chance to spend quality time with all kinds of animals. I grew up with dogs and have known many great cats, and I've successfully negotiated a happy relationship with Huey, our Amazon parrot (which, if you know birds, is harder than it sounds!) For logistical reasons, we really can't add any more animals to our household right now, so having a chance to hang out with and take care of your dogs and cats is a great way to get in some extra animal time.

As a freelance designer I have a very flexible schedule, so I can spend time with your pets whenever or wherever they're most comfortable, whether that means overnights or up to 2 visits per day (depending on your location), including lunchtime walks (again, depending on your location!)

Overall, I prefer to take care of animals in their own home, where they're most comfortable, but I'll also occasionally consider boarding dogs in our home if they'll be comfortable with the bird, and vice versa.
