Hi! I'm Clara, I'm 23, and I am a huge animal lover, always have been. I am grown up with cats, chickens, dogs, rabbits, and more. I am especially fond of cats, and I get along with them well. I've always had a cat or two (or three) in the house, so I'm really used to their temperament and way of life. 

My favorite thing about cats is the range of personality they can offer, from shy and quiet to absolutely chaotic (in a good way). I think one of the reasons I enjoy animals so much is because I don't feel the need to get close or cuddly to do so. Every animal has its boundaries, and I can appreciate them from a distance too. 

I will say I have less experience with dogs than cats. I've always been around dogs to some capacity, but I'm definitely no expert, which is why I prefer to take care of smaller dogs (even though my favorite breed is the larger rhodesian ridgeback).

I'm open to cat-sitting both overnight and for shorter periods and multiple times a day. This includes feeding, playing, walking, cuddling, cleaning, brushing, and anything else. I can come over for 30 minutes to an hour or longer for shorter visits. I will provide regular updates though pictures and texts or calls, whichever you prefer. For sleepovers, we can go over all your preferences and safety measures beforehand, and I will respect them to the fullest. 

I don't mind if your cat is antisocial or even irritable. If that's the case, I can be discrete, calm, and keep my distance if needed. All my cats and any other I've met have had different personalities, and I still love them very much. 

I'm also open to dog-sitting or walking, but preferably smaller or medium-sized dogs. I don't mind a bigger dog depending on its personality. This has nothing to do with my lack of affection for more difficult dogs. But since I'm not an expert on dog behavior, it feels much safer for you dog and myself if I feel confident in my handling. If your big dog is friendly with strangers and trained, I'm definitely open to it.
