Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Boo home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Boo.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Boo home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hej! My name is Oksana, and I'm a 37-year-old from Ukraine, now happily settled in Stockholm. My journey into pet sitting stems from a lifelong, profound love for cats. For me, being a pet sitter isn't just a service; it's a genuine passion and a privilege to connect with these wonderful creatures. My motivation is simple: to provide compassionate, reliable care that allows your beloved felines to thrive in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, giving you complete peace of mind while you're away.
I have extensive personal experience with cats, having had the joy of sharing my home with three wonderful felines in the past, each with their own unique personality. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of cat behavior, needs, and how to adapt care to suit individual temperaments. While I currently cannot host cats at my own home due to a neighbor's allergies, this only strengthens my commitment to offering dedicated in-home visits.
My services are exclusively designed for cats within their own environment. A typical visit focuses on maintaining their routine and ensuring their well-being. This includes precise feeding according to your instructions, ensuring fresh water is always available, and meticulous litter box cleaning. Beyond the essentials, I dedicate quality time to engaging your cat(s) in playtime, offering cuddles, or simply being a comforting presence, depending on their mood. I'm also skilled in basic grooming, such as gentle fur combing and nail trimming, if desired.
Regarding health and safety, I strongly recommend that all pets I care for are up-to-date on their vaccinations. This is crucial for their own health and well-being, as well as for minimizing any potential risks in multi-pet households I might visit. My commitment is to provide a safe, trustworthy, and loving environment for your cherished cats, ensuring they are happy and well-cared for until your return.

Hej!
I've always loved being around animals. I grew up with two dogs—one rescued stray and one German Shepherd. Later, I welcomed another German Shepherd into the family, and we also adopted three stray cats. Caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Besides looking after my own pets, I've cared for cats and dogs in Chile, Australia, and now here in Sweden. Some have joined me for regular walks, while others have stayed with me for several weeks while their owners were away.
I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from tiny Chihuahuas to energetic German Shepherds, as well as cats of all ages, temperaments, and moods.
Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, company during the day, or overnight care, I'm happy to help. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.
Whether you're working a night shift, traveling, or simply need an extra helping hand, you can count on me to take great care of your furry family member ️. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Allt gott

Hi and nice to meet you! I am Petronela and I have moved recently to Stockholm with my husband and our two cats. It was an entire journey for them to adapt to a new home, but we got finally there and they are living their best life. Regarding myself, I am responsible, respectful and always there to take care of your family member. With me, they will feel safe and loved, while you can enjoy your holiday relaxed and carefree. I can take care of small and medium dogs, they'll go on a great walk, I can do 30 mins or longer, depending on your pet needs, and of course, and they'll receive an enormous amount of cuddles. Also, in case your pet needs assistance more than 30 min per day, I can help you with that. The maximum I can stay with your pet daily is between 30 min and 6 hours. I am an energic person, therefore the playtime won't be an issue at all.
Safe to say that I am familiar with cats, I am taking care of them since they were adopted, almost 9 years. I am able to give oral medication if necessary, following your instructions.
We'll meet before to show me around and to share with me your pet preferences. They will get also treats, but only with your permission. We'll be in touch anytime, so you do not have to worry about your child.
In case of any urgencies, you'll be contacted immediately and we will find a solution together on how to proceed further.
If you have any questions regarding my services, please feel free to contact me.
See you,
Mama of Codita (little tail in English) and Porto

I grew up with dogs and turtles, later we also became cat people. I have taken care of many animals in many different ways, from bottle feeding kittens, to giving medicine, caring for wounds, making homemade meals for picky pets or making sure senior pets are comfortable.I've bottle fed kittens, prepared homemade meals for picky eaters, cuddled, played and kept all kinds of cats company (always on their terms of course)! I'll be happy to check on you pets, feed them, play or practice tricks with them. If your pet needs walks, let me know how often and whether or not they get along with others. Please let me know about their likes and dislikes as well as any special needs they may have. It is important to let me know if they like people or if they tend to take a little longer to warm up to strangers (also let me know about any hiding spots and any behaviors that are unusual or any that may be cause for alarm). If your pets need to be fed in a specific order or if there is a particular activity that they enjoy, I'll be happy to spend the visit doing that. If there are any favorite toys or treats please also include it in your instructions (treats need to be provided as this would not be the time to introduce something new to them).

Hej!
